Waco Catholic Moms: The Waco Catholic Mom’s Group is a source of spiritual and emotional nourishment for mothers in the Waco area. Through this ministry we hope to create a place where we can deepen our relationships with God, better understand the importance and dignity of our vocations as mothers, and form supportive Christian friendships. We seek to accomplish this mission by having formal meetings from August-May. Meetings will be held from 7-9pm at St. Jerome Parish every other Thursday, excluding holidays. We also enjoy getting together for playdates, Moms Night Out, and family events. A mom’s group is a very important ministry. A foundation in Catholic faith, life, and tradition starts with a newborn child in the home, and the child’s mother is generally his primary teacher. Parenting and mothering is the most important function and privilege we have in life. It is daunting if we try to do it on our own, but it is manageable day by day with the grace of our Lord, and with the fellowship of other mothers. We invite you to join us!
